National Women's Health Week is a week long observance beginning on Mother's Day every year. Yes! Mujeres this year let's make sure that you take the time to make your health a priority. Empower yourself, your daughters and the other mujeres and amigas around you and take the appropriate steps today to make the necessary changes needed to improve your life.
We, the two Mujeres, encourage you all to lower your risks of certain illnesses that are preventable including heart disease, diabetes and cervical cancer by taking a pledge to stop putting off your doctors' appointments. This year's national women check-up day is May 14, 2012. Make those appointments that you have been putting off, it's time to take ACTION!!
Start that new exercise regimen you have been putting off day after day, and make the right decision as to the food you eat. Last year, we both made the conscious decision to practice what we preach and we took action by choosing a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Today, we can say, we feel better about ourselves and our health is better than it has been in a long time. It can be DONE!!!
One of our trainers always says: It's All About Me!! Because if I take care of myself, I'm able to give my loved ones 100%. ~ #KillerKetsy
